You should be able to just plug it into your computer using a USB cable, and if the windows explorer window doesn’t open automatically, you may need to do the following things:
Enable Camera Transfer Mode
1) Pull down status bar, and select “Connected as a camera”
2) Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is selected
Open Phone Camera Folder On Computer
1) Press start -> Explore
2) Under “Portable Devices”, go to XT1028 > Internal Storage
3) Your photos and movies should be there
