Now there will be no need to visit the RTO office for Driving License Renew and Learner License application. Now this work will be done sitting at home. In fact, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a new notification stating that many important services provided by RTO can now be done online. 18 new online services will be completed through Aadhaar based authentication.

Please tell that the government has asked to link the driving license and RC to Aadhaar. Now the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has started online service through Aadhaar verification. This move of the ministry will reduce the rush of RTOs.

These 18 services will be available from home

With the introduction of online service, now customers will get 18 services sitting at home. This includes application for learner’s license, renewal of driving license, application for duplicate driving license, change of address in driving license and certificate of registration (RC), obtaining international driving license permit, surrender of one class of vehicle from the license, motor vehicle The application for temporary registration and registration of motor vehicle with a fully built body is included.

Apart from this, other services which are available online include issuing duplicate registration certificate, application for grant of NOC for RC, notice of ownership transfer of motor vehicle, application for ownership transfer of motor vehicle, notice of change of address in registration certificate , Application for registration for driver training from a recognized driver training center, application for registration of a motor vehicle of a diplomatic officer, endorsement of higher-purchase agreement and termination of higher-purchase agreement.

Earlier, the ministry had earlier issued a notification which made Aadhaar driving authentication mandatory in the application for a new driving license. The government plans to release a list of authorized training centers, where new drivers will need to enroll to be eligible for a driving license.
